Vil du gerne have dit helt eget luftkvalitets fugl?

To helps us do that, you should know the basic science of sleep - Wake up to a fresh start every morning with fresh air. High CO2 levels in your bedroom all night will make you tired. Carbon dioxide (CO2) is a colorless, odorless gas that is retained in the blood when sleep disorders occur. That is why it is important for you to sleep in a well ventilated room.
Remember to activate the AirBird® to NIGHT MODE before you sleep. This mode does not give you Light or Sound signals. The AirBird® Smart App can show you Notifications instead! This way you can learn about the air quality in your bedroom at night and slowly make changes to your room's ventilation habits.
Research has shown that when bedroom air quality was improved people reported that the bedroom air was fresher, sleep quality improved, and responses on the Groningen Sleep Quality scale improved. They felt better next day, less sleepy, and more able to concentrate and their performance of a test of logical thinking was greatly improved.
What is the Groningen Sleep Quality Scale?
The Groningen Sleep Quality Scale is a tool that can be used to understand your patterns in overall sleep quality. Answer these 15 questions for at least 14 days in a row to help understand your individual sleep patterns.
Learn more about AirBird Modes:
Typically, the AirBird can be on Sound mode, to give you a timely chirp!
The Light Mode quietly signals to you when the air quality is poor. When the light is Amber, the CO2 levels are high and it is a call for action - For example, you can open your windows for fresh air. When the light turns green, you can close the windows again.
The Night Mode mutes both light & sound signals.
Good night, but Great Mornings with the AirBird®.
]]>Children’s rooms for play and sleep are hotspots of high levels of stale air as we often leave windows closed for safety. With the AirBird® Smart App you can monitor the indoor climate in your children's room in real-time.
How does humidity affect asthma & allergy symptoms?
Humidity encourages the growth of moulds and fungus. Millions of spores linger in the air making children vulnerable to increased asthma and allergy symptoms. Good ventilation is important to balance the relative humidity and it prevents the growth of mould or fungus. Humidity in a room must never exceed 60%.
Long exposures to poor indoor climate cause disturbance to sleep, lower cognitive development and the AirBird® decreases risk of asthma and allergies.
Getting started
Download the AirBird Smart App on the AppStore / Google Play.
To connect your AirBird® to the wireless gateway Follow the setup video and guide.
Keep the AirBird® in the room you would like to monitor. We usually recommend only 1 AirBird® per enclosed space. In a few minutes, the air quality data of this room will show in the App. You can add more AirBirds® to the same wireless gateway - and get a complete overview of the air quality in your home.
AirBirds® are ideally placed in your bedroom, children's rooms, living area and study. In your App, you can name your AirBirds to indicate the rooms you have placed them in.
The AirBird® measures CO2, temperature and humidity in realtime. The advanced AI that runs it, determines a risk score based on these parameters. You can receive alerts, notifications and weekly reports of your house's ventilation and air quality via the App.
Increased levels of CO2 have a bad health impact on our sleep quality. The challenge lies in that most people do not recognise the extent to which this impacts us. It is hard to perceive rising levels of CO2, and long exposure to high levels makes us feel tired, sleepy and seriously reducing our ability to perform activities with concentration.
For example, the air in your bedroom as you sleep is perhaps one of the most important aspects of your day. If the levels of CO2 are consistently high through the night, you might wake up with a headache, nausea and other sleep related symptoms.
Having a fresh start to your day is in your hands! The AirBird® CONNECT helps you develop healthy air habits by gently reminding you to open your windows or ventilate.
